Meethi Seviyan
Meethi Seviyan is a dessert made with vermicelli, sugar, ghee and nuts.
This is a quick dessert recipe that is done in less than 20 mins and it is great to serve as an after meal dessert.
There are a few different ways Meethi Seviyan is made. It can be made with or without milk.
In this dry Seviyan recipe i have not used milk.

- 1 Cup Vermicelli/ Seviyan Full Crushed
- 1/4 Cup Ghee
- 3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 Tbsp Cardamom Powder
- 1&3/4 Cup Water
- 1-2 Tbsp Chopped Nuts
- 1 pinch Food Color (Optional)
Heat ghee in a pan on medium flame & add vermicelli
Roast for 2min. keep aside
In a sauce pan add water,sugar & food color. cook on low heat until sugar melt completely
Add this sugar water in the roasted vermicelli pan. stir, cover & cook for 4-5min on low flame
Open the lid & add cardamom powder & nuts
Mix well & serve hot
