Meethi Seviyan

Meethi Seviyan is a dessert made with vermicelli, sugar, ghee and nuts.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Vermicelli/ Seviyan Full Crushed
  • 1/4 Cup Ghee
  • 3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 Tbsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1&3/4 Cup Water
  • 1-2 Tbsp Chopped Nuts
  • 1 pinch Food Color (Optional)

Instructions
 

  • Heat ghee in a pan on medium flame & add vermicelli
  • Roast for 2min. keep aside
  • In a sauce pan add water,sugar & food color. cook on low heat until sugar melt completely
  • Add this sugar water in the roasted vermicelli pan. stir, cover & cook for 4-5min on low flame
  • Open the lid & add cardamom powder & nuts
  • Mix well & serve hot
