For Cake Batter
- 1&1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 cup Butter at room temp
- 1&1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 3 large eggs at room temp
- 1 tsp Instant coffee dissolved in 2 tbsp water
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk at room temp
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Frosting
- 80 gm Dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
For cake batter
In a bowl combine Eggs, sugar, butter and coffee. Mix until it turns creamy and light.
Add cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and milk. Mix until well combined.
Preheat the oven at 180 for 15 minutes.
Prepare the 9" loaf pan. Grease and line the pan.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean. Cool in the pan on a rack for about 10 minutes
