Chicken 65 Paratha Roll

Flavorful chicken 65 wrapped up in a flaky paratha with freshly chopped onions and drizzled with a tangy cilantro mint yoghurt chutney is one of the most wonderful & quick meal.

Ingredients
  

For Chicken Marinade

  • 500 gm Boneless Chicken Pieces
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chilly Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1&1/2 tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
  • 1&1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 3 tbsp Corn Flour
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 egg

For yoghurt sauce

  • 1/2 cup Thick Yogurt Full Fat
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp red chilly sauce
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 pinch Red Food Color

For Gravy

  • 2 tbsp garlic chopped
  • 1 small Onion chopped
  • 15 Curry Leaves
  • 3 Green chillies slit
  • 1 tbsp Corn Flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • salt if needed

For Roll

  • 8 frozen or homemade paratha
  • 1 Thinly sliced onion
  • Mint yoghurt chutney

Instructions
 

For chicken Marinade & Frying

  • In a bowl combine all ingredients and add chicken. Mix well until chicken is well coated. Cover & let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • In a pan heat oil & fry the chicken pieces until golden brown. Take out on a paper towel and keep aside.

For yoghurt sauce

  • In a bowl add yoghurt & whisk until smooth. Add sauces, vinegar, salt & chilly powder. Mix until well combined. Keep aside.

For Gravy

  • In a pan on High flame heat some oil.Add chopped garlic, onion, green chillies & curry leaves. Fry for 1 minute.
  • Now add prepared Yoghurt sauce & cook on medium flame for 1- 2 minutes.
  • Meanwhile in a separate bowl add cornflour & water. Add this cornflour slurry to the gravy & cook for 30 seconds.
  • Now add in the fried chicken pieces & mix until chicken is well coated.
  • Add salt if needed & cook this for 1-2 minutes or until you get the desired consistency .Chicken 65 is now ready.

Assembling

  • Spread the green chutney on the cooked parathaAdd 2 to 3 spoonfuls of the filling in the middle.
  • Add sliced onions & drizzle green chutney on it.
  • Now roll the sides up to the middle. You can use small toothpicks to hold them together or roll in a sandwich paper. Enjoy!!!
