Tandoori Chicken Cheese Sandwiches

Ingredients
  

Homemade Tandoori Chicken Masala

  • 14-16 Cinnamon Stick each around 2-3inch dal chini
  • 8 Black Cardamom Badi ilaichi
  • 28 Green Cardamom Hari ilaichi
  • 4 Florets of Mace Javitri
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg Powder Jaifal
  • 3 tsp Fennel Seed Saunf
  • 4 Star anise chakri ka phool
  • 4 tbsp Cumin Seeds zeera
  • 4 tbsp Coriander seeds Dhaniya
  • 20-25 Dry Red Chillies sookhi mirch
  • 1/4 tsp Red Food Color
  • 6 Bay Leaves Tej patta
  • 1&1/2 tsp Cloves laung
  • 1&1/2 tsp Black Peppercorns Sabit kaali mirch

For chicken Marinade 

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 3 tbsp Whisked Thick Yogurt Full Fat
  • 1 tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp Homemade Tandoori Chicken Masala
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chili Powder
  • 1 pinch Red Food Color

For Sandwich

  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2&1/2 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Chilli garlic sauce
  • 2 tbsp Green chutney
  • French Fries optional

Instructions
 

Homemade Tandoori Chicken Masala

  • n a mixer grinder or food processor add all the ingredients (mentioned in ingredients section for Homemade Tandoori Chicken Masala) and grind to a fine powder. Transfer this mixture into an airtight container. Home-made Tandoori Chicken Masala is ready!!

For Chicken Marinade

  • Butterfly your breasts right through to make 4 even sized breasts and arrange in a non-stick cooking pan. As show in the picture.
  • Now add yoghurt, ginger garlic paste, red chilly powder, salt, lemon juice, prepared Tandoori chicken masala powder, oil and food color. Mix everything until all the chicken pieces are well coated
  • Cover and keep in the refrigerator for overnight or at least 2hr.
  • Now get the chicken out of the fridge 20minutes before frying. This step is very important.
  • Place the pan over high flame for 2 minutes then reduce the flame to low & cook on one side for7-8 minutes. Flip over and cook for another 7-8 minutes. Tandoori chicken is ready.

For Sandwich

  • To make Cheese sauce In a medium sized mixing bowl combine 1/2cup cheese, mayonnaise & chilli garlic sauce & microwave for 40-50sec or until the cheese melts completely. Let it cool set aside.
  • Take the bread slices. Apply green chutney on one side and extra masala of cooked chicken on the other.
  • Cut the chicken pieces and place the desired amount on green chutney side . Add prepared Cheese sauce & French fries. Cover this with Masala side & press gently.
  • Toast these sandwiches on a grill/ non stick pan or sandwich maker. Serve hot with mint chutney/ ketchup & fries.
