Chilli Garlic Chicken Skewers with Vegetable Pulao

These skewers are ridiculously delicious and flavor combination is just wonderful!! Recipe is very simple and it comes together pretty quickly and makes a beautiful presentation. Serve it with Quick Vegetable Pulao.

Ingredients
  

For Chilli Garlic Chicken Skewers

  • 500 gm Boneless Chicken Pieces
  • 1 tbsp Garlic finely Chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp White Pepper Powder
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1&1/2 tbsp Red chilli paste
  • 1&1/2 tbsp Extra Hot Peri peri Sauce or Hor sauce
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1&1/2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 small Red Bell pepper dice
  • 1 small Green Bell pepper dice
  • 1 small Onion dice
  • 5 Skewers

Fore Vegetable Pulao

  • 1&1/2 cup basmati rice
  • 1/4 cup onion Chopped
  • 2 tbsp Spring Onion Chopped
  • 4 French Beans Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Carrot Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Onion Green Chopped
  • 2-3 tbsp Coriander Leaves + Mint leaves Chopped
  • 2 Green Chillies slit
  • 1/4 cup peas
  • 1/4 cup Bell Peppers Chopped
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Cloves Garlic chopped
  • 1/3 cup Oil
  • 1 Bay Leave
  • 2 Cinnamon Stick 1 inch
  • 3 Cloves
  • 1/4 tsp Shah Zeera
  • 1 Black Cardamom
  • 2 small Strand Mace
  • 2&1/2 Cup Water

Instructions
 

For Chilli Garlic Chicken Skewers

  • In a bowl add all the ingredient and chicken , mix well and let it rest for at least an hour.
  • Thread marinated Chicken , bell peppers and onion on the skewers .
  • Heat a grill pan to medium Hot and add the chicken skewers cook on one side for7-8 minutes.
  • Flip over and cook for another 7-8 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken from the pan. Chicken skewers are ready.

For Vegetable Pulao

  • Wash and Soak Basmati rice for 1hour.
  • While the rice soaks, rinse Carrot, Beans, Bell peppers and chop all of them to bite pieces.
  • Chop onion & spring Onion finely and slit green chillies.
  • Chop Onion green, coriander & mint leaves finely & set aside.
  • In a pan heat oil and all the whole spices & fry for 30 seconds.
  • Add the onions, green chillies & garlic ,fry until Onion turns golden.
  • Add Ginger & Garlic Paste & fry for 1 minute.
  • Add all the vegetables and cook on high flame for 2-3 minutes.
  • pour water, lemon juice & salt , bring it to a boil.
  • add soaked rice , stir and cook on medium flame until all the water is absorbed.
  • Now cover and cook the rice on low flame for 10min. Serve hot with chicken skewers.
