Shami Kebab

Shami kebabs are succulent minced lamb with chana dal with spicy masala filling inside and crispy fried on the outside.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 kg Boneless Meat Mutton Or Beef
  • 1 piece Onion Medium Size
  • 3/4 cup Chana Dal
  • 1 & 1/2 tbsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1&1/2 tbsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp Cumin Powder
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves Chopped
  • 1-2 piece Green Chili
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 3/4 Cup Water
  • 3 tbsp Oil

Instructions
 

  • In a pressure cooker heat oil,add onions saute for 2-3 min
  • Add ginger & garlic paste mix well. add red chili powder,salt, turmeric powder
  • Add chana daal & mix well
  • Add meat and mix well
  • Add coriander & green chillies and lemon juice
  • Add water
  • Add garam masala, coriander & cumin powder
  • Pressure cook for 15min until the meat is cooked completely
  • Open the pressure cooker,bhonfy until dry
  • Cool completely & make a fine paste
  • Apply some oil on hands make round shaped disc & keep aside
  • Heat oil in a pan fry the prepared shami kebabs on low heat for 1-2 min on both sides.
  • Serve hot with rice or as desired.
