Quick Aloo Qeema
Aloo Qeema /Keema is a Classic comfort food popular in India and Pakistan.
My classic lamb Qeema recipe is made with lamb mince, potatoes and lots of wonderful aromatics. Packed with flavor and protein, this is a mince potato curry that’s ready in just under 30 minutes.
I served it with laccha parathas.

- 500 gm Mince Meat Mutton/Beef
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 2 Cinnamon
- 1 Bay Leave
- 1 Black Cardamom
- 1 Large Onion Sliced
- 1 Tomato
- 2 tbsp Ginger & Garlic Paste
- 1&1/2 tsp Red Chilly Powder
- 1&1/2 tsp salt to taste
- 3/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1&1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp Kasuri Methi
- 2 tbsp Coriander+mint leaves Chooped
- 4-6 Green Chilies
- 2 meduim Potato cubes
In a pressure cooker or pan heat oil, add whole spices & fry.
Add sliced onions & fry until color changes to light golden.
Add in Ginger and Garlic paste. fry on medium flame.
Add tomatoes, salt, red chilly & turmeric powder. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
Add mince meat / Qeema & mix well. Bhonfy for 2-3 min on high flame.
Add 1/2cup water & cook in pressure cooker for 8-10min on low flame or on pan for 20-25 minutes.
Open the lid & cook on high flame stirring continuously for 5-8 minutes.
Add potato pieces, green chillies & coriander leaves. Mx well.
Add garam masala, coriander & cumin powder and kasuri methi, Mix well and Cook in the pressure cooker for 2min /in pan for 10min or until potatoes are soft & cooked completely.
Check the Salt, add if needed . Serve hot with naan roti paratha or rice I have served with Laccha paratha
