- 1 & 1/4 Cup Flour
- 1 & 1/2 Cup Sugar Granulated
- 2/3 Cup Cocoa Powder Unsweetened
- 1/2 Cup Butter Room Temperature
- 2 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 3 piece Eggs(Big Size) Room Temperature
- 3/4 Cup Milk Room Temperature
- 3/4 tbsp Salt
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 Cup Chopped Pecans Optional
Frosting
- 1 Cup Cream Cheese Room Temperature
- 5 tbsp Unsalted Butter Room Temperature
- 3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 5/6 tbsp Milk Room Temperature
Preheat the oven at 180c for 15min.
Greece a loaf pan & dust with COCOA POWDER & keep aside
In a bowl sift all the dry ingredients ,mix and keep aside
In another bowl add eggs,butter, vanilla & whisk for 2-3 min until well combined
Add eggs ,one at a time & whisk well
Now add half sifted dry ingredients & half milk,whisk.Add remaining dry mixture & milk,mix well (don't over mix)
Add chopped pecans (optional)
pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan & bake at 180c for 40-45min or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean
after 5-10 min carefully remove loaf from pan & cool completely
Cream Cheese Frosting
In a bowl add cream cheese and butter, whisk well
Add powdered sugar ,vanilla extract & mix well
Add milk(you can add more to adjust the consistency) . Mix well until completely smooth
Spread the Frosting on cooled chocolate loaf, add pecans on top,dust cocoa powder or cinnamon powder on top and enjoy
